Rick and Suzi Mahaney

My name is Rick Mahaney. My family and I are missionaries with Armed Forces Baptist Missions, in Chesapeake, VA. We are sent out under the authority of Shreveport Baptist Temple in Shreveport, LA. God has called us to start a Servicemen’s Center outside Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City, LA.

My wife, Suzi, and I were married on July 27, 1985. I was saved at the age of 12 during vacation bible school and my wife was saved at the age of 9 during church camp. We have three adult children (Drew, Bethany and Jordan) and 6 grandchildren (Eric, Nathan, Reagan, Samantha, Audrey and Adalyn). I graduated from Bible college with a BA in Biblical Studies in 2003 while serving in the Air Force and Barksdale AFB, LA. I retired from the Air Force on January 1, 2006 after 21 years of service.
